These classes will up your calorie burn and reduce overall body fat whilst sculpting your core with ab focused exercises. BUT working hard in the gym doesn’t give you a free pass to a defined core. Remember that old fitness myth of ‘abs are made in the kitchen’ well it's pretty bang on. You can’t sweat yourself into shape if you’re going ham on the pizza and fries or drinking too much too often. You’ve also got to work with your genetics, the lucky ones can get abs without too much effort, others will have to reach a lower body fat % to see the same results. Your DNA is either going to hinder or help but that’s not to say abs abs are off totally the cards. You’ve just got to ensure your calories aren’t too high and you’re getting down to RIG’s favourite ab sculpting studios a couple times a week. It’s not rocket science.


All that being said if you’re finding it hard to get your abs popping without killing it the gym seven days a week and living off broccoli and chicken you might want to reconsider your priorities. There is more to defining your abs than aesthetics. Confidence is key and hey your mates abs might be popping but your core might be stronger. Don’t judge a book, or your core by the cover.
